|tom westlake||I have a John Deere 130 lawn tractor. It's been great for all these years (about 17) and now 2 problems have cropped up. # 1 is that the mower deck will not engage. There is a toggle switch on the dash above the ignition that you flip up to engage the mower deck. It has stopped working. I checked all the conectons ands wires and belts and the switch everything seems just fine, but no go .Dead.
The # 2 prbblem is the mower deck will no longer stay at it's setting. I checked the spring that holds the setting position in place and it seems ok,but the slightest bump and the deck dropd to it's lowest point. Any suggestions?
Oh yea, by the way I also have a third problem.
When you step on or use the brake pedal the whole brake sysytem locks up and will not pop loose. Then I have to take the shroud off and work it free. and then as soon as you touch the brake it locks up again. Please help. Thanks
