John Deere 420 snow blade fit a 425?
Wanted to know if the 420 54" snow blade will fit on a John Deere 425? if not is there a specific attachment that can be used to make it work?
|Dave||Hi Anna I,
Well, it is not a direct fit, that's for sure. However, there is a device called a "frame squeezer" made by AL Z Welding, that allows older front attachments to fit newer tractors. Here's a link to their Web site: http://www.alzwelding.com/sellfolio.html
The frame squeezer bracket for this application does not work! I bought one, $230 after shipping, to find out that it doesn't! Now, I'm trying to figure out how I can get something that will. See picture!
Interesting in selling the 420, and then you could purchase correct blade for your 425.
I have a 755, and wonder if 420 will fit it? Looks close.
what state or province are you in? I'm in SW Ohio.
