oil pan installation
| cjc | I recently removed the oil pan on my 8N. After I reinstalled it I now have a knock. Does the oil pickup tube need to fit into the drain hole?
| Shaun Wallace | Yes the plug and screen assembly needs to fit in pickup tube. Did pickup come unwelded from pump and get run with no oil pressure?
| cjc | No, I was rushing to get the pan back on and the tube is not completely in the drain hole.
