8n stalling
| Brent Poulton | Tractor starts easily, runs well for about 10 minutes, then stalls, as if starved for gas. New carb was installed several months ago and tractor has run well until recently. Any advice will be appreciated before I start taking things apart.

| Jim Loveridge | There are 3 different screens in the fuel line. One in the tank on the fuel shut off valve, one above the sededment bowl and one more in the line as it enteres the carb. You can take the bolt out of the bottom of the carb. Gas should run out continuously. If that's not it, it could be a bad condenser in the distrubutor or the ignition coil may be going bad. You can check for a good strong spark when it stalls. Let us know.

| Bob G | Like Jim says pull the plug. in addition to the filters he memtioned, what plugged in mine was the stand pipe in the tank. the filter in gas tank is open ended and allows junk to get in the stand pipe. if you have fuel low problems you may want to remove the bowl ass and check it. What 8n do you have? The ones with the front mt distributor have weak coils. let us know what you find. |
| Richard Horne | I had the same Problem as Brent Poulton 19518n would run for 10 to 20 min and jump around like a rabbit.than stop as tho you had turned the key off Cleaned the gas tank (flushed with Garden hose And used shop vacum cleaner several times) Been running like a new one so far |
