2n Foot Boards
| Bill Spencer | I am rebuilding a 2N from a basket case and have this question: Does the 2N have foot boards/rests attached to brackets sandwiched between the transmission housing and the radius rod socket and the rear of the boards resting on brackets attached to differential side covers? Boards were included in the parts, but it appears the clutch pedal strikes the left one when depressed. Any help/suggestions is appreciated. Thanks! |
| Bob G | What I have says the running boards were added with the 8n's

| Bill Spencer | Thanks Bob,this is kind of what i thought since these boards don't fit exactly right. Apparently they were added later.

| lha | I have the same ones on my'41 9n.Evidently someone made a lot of them,as they are real handy getting on and off. While I am driving,I find myself using the footpegs is more confortable and safer as I have gotten hung up on the pedals when I had to react quickly.---lha
