Pat	I've read all I can find on this. 50 8N The cable pulls out 1 1/4" and the tractor goes faster. the cable all the way in and the tractor goes slow. Affects all gears. Is there a neutral position on the cable type or is everything working correctly. some info talks about having 12 gear I only have 8. Anyone seen a manual for a normal to low sherman with a cable selector? Thanks Pat in Georgia
Bob G	Sounds like what you have is Sherman under drive, fairly rare these days. Check out John Smiths 8Ns site. he has a section that talks about them. No neutral, only normal or underdrive. They also made a Sherman overdrive with a push pull knob.
