|Worth T White||I overalled my tractor and started it up and the oil pump is not working. I took oil pan back off and checked the oil pump for damage, it look OK.
do I need prim it? How I do that? What is wrong?
|Wayne||Sometimes you need to put oil or light grease in the gears to prime it. The other thing to check is if the pickup tube is loose in the cover over the gears. You can loose pressure there.

PS,will someone please tell edison that maybe,just maybe direction of pump rotation is a key element when priming a pump,of any kind,centrifagul or not
