|Dave||Working on a ford 2000 gas, with a piston pump. When I operate the 3pt lift it is very slow to raise and lower. Also when it is raised with any weight on it there is a vibration or bounce as it goes up. Any ideas? Thanks
|Billy Correll||I have a Fordson Dexta Tractor and I had the same problem. (I once also had a Ford 9N doing the same thing). After paying to have the Pump rebuilt, I found that the only problem was that the sump screen was clogged. I removed the sump screen found it to be completely blocked. After cleaning, the hydraulics now works fine.
