Ford 3000 shakey hydraulics

Steve My Ford 3000 diesel takes a long time for the hydraulics to work after it has set a week, and when they do the lift arms shake on the way up, I have rebuilt the main piston and o rings, but never touched the pump itself, is that where I should look next?
TomG : My Ford 3000 diesel takes a long time for the hydraulics to work after it has set a week,

A pressure test would be good to verify that the pump is putting out pressure, if there aren't other hydraulics on the tractor.

:It is probably the inlet valves in the engine mounted hydraulic pump.A reasonably priced overhaul kit used to be available from Ford containing a multitude of small wearing parts.Failing a willingness to part with money(like me)I've found that placing a pressure
load on the pump e.g. a tap in the external service will help to get the pump warmed up and operating smoothly.

Keith My Ford's transmission will not work. It is an automatic shift with two reverse gears. When you place it in reverse the engine bogs down like it wants to move but does not. All the forward gears just sit there.
It has a loader on the front that works fine.
The fluid level is fine and it has no bubbles in it so I don't believe we are getting air in the unit.
It worked fine when we parked it in the barn a week ago.
Help!\\

David Sanford Did anyone ever respond to you post for information? A friend of mine has the same problem.
