| Hank | Where can I find a complete explanation for the following serial number from a Ford 2000 (1966?)? Thanks! 21022A |
| Dave | This is a good link for info: http://www.springfieldbiz.com/oaktree/codes_short2.html FORD TRACTORS Chassis Type 10 - Agricultural All Purpose Fuel Type 1 - Diesel PTO 1 - No PTO Tramission Type A - 4 speed |
| Hank | Dave: Thanks for the link. It was very helpful. Guess I didn't read the production code properly as I can't make any sense of it. I'll check it again. Looks like I have a 2000, Agricultural, Gas, 540 Trans., 4 speed. Somewhere I remember finding a cross reference for the serial number (?) that indicated it was a 1966 model. Does this sound right? Thanks again. |
