|Hank||Where can I find a complete explanation for the following serial number from a Ford 2000 (1966?)?
|Dave||This is a good link for info:
10 - Agricultural All Purpose
1 - Diesel
1 - No PTO
A - 4 speed
|Hank||Dave: Thanks for the link. It was very helpful. Guess I didn't read the production code properly as I can't make any sense of it. I'll check it again. Looks like I have a 2000, Agricultural, Gas, 540 Trans., 4 speed. Somewhere I remember finding a cross reference for the serial number (?) that indicated it was a 1966 model. Does this sound right? Thanks again.
