| Sallie Kirkpatrick | Just purchased. Not renovated at all. Changed the hydraulic oil and now won't lift. No numbers on the machine, just told what it is. Any ideas where to go to get information on machine and repair. Thanks |
| JAMES | Hi, It is a 600 series. You will need to bleed the hydraulic pump to get the lift back working. There is a plug on the pump loosen it and turn the engine until oil bubles out the plug. Be careful not to get it too loose as the pressure can blow it out and it can become a deadly weapon. If it is a gasoline model pull the coil wire out of the coil so it won't start. If it's a diesel then be sure the cutoff is pulled out. Have the lift control lever at the lowered position. Good luck |
| Diane Nally | My husband just purchased this tractor we think it is a 1958 model but the above is on it. I would like to find a manual, reproduction would be ok. I looked at the ones listed at ssbtractor and not sure what to purchase. Also the tractor is a gas engine. Thanks for any help
