| Lynn | I have 1968 Ford 2000 diesel tractor.Could anyone tell me where the water temp sending unit is located on the tractor. The water temp guage is not working and I thought I would start there first. Thanks |
| Holz | Look on the front of the engine on the front of head, It will most likely be a small unit with the gauge wire connected to it. I believe it will be below the water inlet hose. They can be a bear-cat to find if you don't know where to look, been there-done that. Frank, at Holz.

| Joe Stuckwisch | I have a 1968 Ford 3 cyl. gas and I also need to know where the sending unit is for the temperature gauge.I just put a new water pump on and now the temperature gauge goes over to the red. Could it be the thermostat is stuck. Is the thermostat located where the bottom hose goes from the radiator. If this is the problem can I remove this and not hurt the tractor. Thank you
