|Larry||On my ford 5000 early model the power steering
has started blowing oil out the canister lid.
It has the canister on top of engine separate from
the pump. The oil get real foamy and blows out the
fill cap vent hole. Is it possible a valve in the
pump is sticking or is it possible the filter is
stopped up. Doesn't do it every time just when it is really cold. Please help, steering still works fine just losing oil.
|Ed||Hello Larry, welcome to the forum.
Your filter is plugged.
