Ford 4500 backhoe - 19-551
|dan||Can anyone tell me what model number equates to a model 19-551 ( found on the tag )....... When finding parts everyone seems to know these as 750, 753, 755 models.... How do you know what you actually have?
Also, How can you determine the model year of the tractor based on the serial number?
Thanks for any info!!!
|Michael Mason||Component # 19-551 is as follows:
Backhoe, Basic 15' Series 755
You can determine the year of the tractor by the serial #, but the production code will tell you exactly when it was built. Located on the top of the transmission housing r/h side behind the starter, stamped INTO the housing. Three sets of #s can be found there, the model of the unit, the production code and the serial #. Provide them and I could tell you what it is. Hope this helps.
