ford 5000 hydraluic problem

ted i have a ford 5000 with a front loader the hydrulics are slow and sometimes do not work at all..where do i find the filter..Help!!!!
Shaun Wallace Guess loader uses tractor hyd not pto or engine driven. There is a mesh strainer on suction side of pump. If remember can be goten out after pulling pump. pump is on LH side at step level.
