Ford 4000 Gas?
| Matthew McAllister | We are going to look at a 4000 Gas with a loader that will not start. It turns over fine but wont start after it had set for a couple of years. My question is how to tell quickly what year it is and if there is specific year or model to stay away from? I have heard that they're is a certain tranny to stay away from? Also he said that the rear pto shaft doesnt work. Is theyre something common about that problem. We do know that when the tractor was in use a few years ago everything worked great other than the PTO (owned by a friend of the family). We think we can get it cheap. Thanks |
