555A Ford transmission

Dave Dickhart Tractor runs great forward and backward until it warms up
then transmission loses torque mostly in reverse. Changed all fluids, helped a little but still having problems. Is there a special hydraulic fluid that needs to be used? Or is there another problem I could be having. Anyone having this problem.

Steve Yurcak Dave,if the engine is fine, it sounds like the o-rings on your clutch pistons are due, if they are worn oil will simply go by them and in doing so will not put pressure on the clutch plates, hence you lose power. The warmer your fluid is in the transmission the thinner it becomes and in turn you lose more power.
Steve.
