Ford TW 35 or 8830....any good??
| Mn Dave | I am considering either a TW 35 or 8830 both mfwd, is either one better than the other? Is the clutch on either a wet clutch or dry clutch? How is the transmission, power shift, etc. Any info would be helpful......Thanks.

| John R. Hall | Both are good tractors.TW 35 has a dry clutch and manual gearbox.Very simple tractor to work on [steam engine tecnology] 8830 has power shift gear box which is very expesive to repair if you are going to buy a 8830 check clutch packs by using the self diagnostic mode on digital dash.If you want a good old plodder go for the TW 35. |
