7600 Ford no pto engagement

Joe I bought a 7600 Ford and hooked up my flail mower to it and pto will not engage.
Fluid level is full. Please help. Thanks
jacque gillis HI could be many things could be a broken fork inside the tractor that pushes and pulls the pto engage valve
