640 Ford Lift will not hold steady.
|Kenneth Caldwell||I have a 57 Ford 640. The lift goes up and down and has plenty of power. But it will not stay at set point. It will just start drifting all the way up even when the handle is 1/4 or 1/2 way up. Bush hogging is impossible and a scrape blade will drive you crazy! Ideas? I need help!
|steve b.||Tractor Supply Company sells I&T shop service manuals for this tractor. It is FO-20. It gives a pretty good description of service on the power lift. Steve
