|sam gunter||have an international 806 tractor with a pretty good hyro leak out of the base of the three point arm (coming from the trans?)anyway can anyone explain to me what is involved in fixing it. and what other things i may run into while doing so?
|rick||is it the left looking from the back to the front? If so easy to replace o ring. If that does not work then you may have to replace bushings, which means taking off the pto. That can be tricky I had a mechanic who knows what he is doing fix mine. If it is the torsion bar that is work, the dealer part is about $800.00 plus, you may find it used for about half that.
|David||Rick's reply was right on. I think i remember there being 2 O rings there. Also a bucket with a clean rag over it placed under the leak will catch that fluid and allow you to filter and reuse, that is working for me.
