|ck edwards||can anyone fill me in on this lil tractor? I'm told it is rare. My dad bought in SC a couple years ago and is now deceased. Thx!
|MGS||Not all that rare, around 50,000 built between '58 and '75.
A nice little tractor, basically an updated Super A. It is worth quite a bit because they are popular with groundskeepers; a bit bigger than a Cub, ideal for mowing large lawns.
|Hugh MacKay||MGS: Actually a few more than your saying. IH kept building the 140 until the end of 1979, don't have the exact figure but close to 70,000.
|J. Graham||G-pa has one. Hope I can talk him into restoring it. Wish I knew the year model.
