steve Purchased a 444 International, gas tractor made 1970. Changing oil. Do we use the 30w or the 15-40 or does it matter. I noticed the Rotella 30w was all desginated for diesel.

IHTimmy Ih recommends low Ash 30 weight oil now days it depends how close you are to a dealer. The gas oil you're getting now they took a lot of the zinc out it zinc is an extra lubricant I would recommend using diesel oil in a gas tractor because it has high zinc for Antiwear for cam and lifters my buddy got a 686 gas with 6800 hours on it and I overhauled ten years back it has another 3300 hours on it now since the overhaul and uses 1540 changes it every 100 hrs
steve thx for info
