IH 756 Transmission
|Gary Eberspacher||I'm doing some research to try and list all the tractors my Grandfather, my dad and his 5 brothers have owned since the first 15-30 back in 1929.I'm also listing horsepower and how many gears the transmission had. On one of my uncle's IH/F 756 I can't find much about the transmission. All I can find is that it has 8 gears but there is no mention of a high-low or a TA. Would someone out there be able to fill in the gaps for me?
|MGS||Yes, it's basically the same 8 speed found in all of the large frame tractors (06,56,66,86) The 756 could have a TA. I think it was optional equipment though.
