|Betty||Tractor is not firing...any advise on what to do? Changed plugs, points and condenser...thanks!
|Butch||Points would be the first thing to check.
|gerald sundberg||Do you have a distributor or magneto?Did you take it off the engine when you put in the points? If so make sure it's in time with top dead center on the compression stroke.If it's a magneto make sure the impulse coupling is snapping or it won't make spark.Even new condensers can be bad,try another one.Is the gas turned on?

|john 902||There ya go John M, start at the start. Does 'not firing' mean not cranking or no spark. A little clearer explanation of the problem and perhaps some history (i.e. have you noticed the problem over time or is it all of a sudden?).
