international 460 diesel pump timing (1958)
|Joe||Need info. on removing & installing pump to get rebuilt, where to look for timing marks.
|jim||Remove timing cover on side of pump,(little plate with two screws). Turn engine until the rotating mark on gov aligns with the stationary mark on cam ring. You are now on number one near tdc. Should be timed to 3 degrees before tdc on earlier model tractors and may be tdc or l degree before on later models. Then take all lines off at the nozzle end, fuel lines etc and just the two bolts that hold pump to adaptor housing. After pump is off remove the injection lines from pump.
