656 Utility Hyd. Problem

Bob Han I have a 656 Utility with a Freeman loader. I have replaced the hyd. pump 2 years ago and the problem continues. When puchased the loader was fairly strong and after 3-4 years it became very weak so I replaced the pump which helped some but did solve the issue. The three point and steering are strong and do not drop with an attatchment on it, the loader does fall slowly overnight.I was told to try overfillg the hyd. fluid which did nothing, no cavition sounds, and new filters. I was told also to try putting a thin washer in the pressure relief valve..... WHAT IS REALLY WRONG????
jim This is why we use tools to test a system, like flo raters and pressure gauges. With out a systematic procedure you are shooting in the dark. It may be as simple as the orfice in the flow divider coming out of place sending too much flow to steering and not enough to aux circuit, or the pilot relief valve in the aux valve mounting. Have you tried a new or different one. Very easy to replace for quick test. Might be as complicated as internal leak as the hitch pump flow joins the main pump flow for aux valve operation and it may be getting away inside. Can't tell from here.
