'44 Farmall M gearbox capacity

bobby badlands top 'O the day! I have a 1944 Farmall M, I want to change out the transmission fluid. I have found the fill hole and drain hole. How much gear oil do I put back in? thanks !!! have a great day! choose happiness !
John M Its either 8 or 10 gallons, I dont recall, but I know I buy 2 5 gallon buckets of 80w90, just cant remember if i use it all or not.
bobby badlands that is a big help, but how do I know when it is full? do I just fill it to the top? if I put in too much will it hurt the tranny?

John M Theres a polug on the trans case near the clutch pedal. take it out and when it comes out its full.
