hydraulics on 560

Roy I am looking to buy a 560 off someone;But the frontloader is very slow when it goes up.The person said he checked the fluids and added them in the trans; where your feet rest when seated on the tractor.Is this where hydraulic fluid is added or should it be added somewhere else? Thank you.
