686 international s/n
| brian | I'm looking to buy a 686 it has a t/a and the owners don't know the year . I'm not sure where the s/n is located or what the numbers mean to age it. also it was turned over trying to start it 2 years ago i think they gas washed the cylinders and nows it's stuck . i think it's a 78-80 other than faded the steel is nice and strieght . I'd also like a ball park on the value.I have considered putting a 301d in place of the gas. will it fit?
