using sleeves and pistons out of farmall 130 in farmall c block
| Charlie | Hi, I recently purchased a farmall 130(123 CID) with cracked block. It has relatively new sleeves and pistons. Would these fit in a farmall c block(113 CID) My neighbor says the only difference in the two is the bore diameter, and that the 3-1/8 bore sleeve will fit the 3"bore head. Any help would be appreciated before I tear into both engines. 130 block to badly damaged to weld, plus Hard to find a used one that isn't cracked.

| rich4 | Did you find out your answer? I believe the sleeves were thinner, so they should interchange.
|
| Charlie | Rich4, I have not tried it yet, but an old fella down the road, told me the same thing as you. Give me a few weeks and I will find out for sure. Will post as follow up. Thank you!! Charlie the hillbilly |
| John M | This would have been a good one for ole Hugh, but I think the interanl bore is different therefore the sleeves wont fit. I could be wrong.

| charlie | I found my answer in an older forum answer: Hugh wrote this about a super a (113)engine, and super c(123) engine. I guess old hugh will always be around!Quote, "Hugh MacKay: Clydeman: All Super C and Super A after serial number 310300 use block part number 354898 R1. Number is behind oil filter. The difference is all Super A after 310300 use a thicker sleeve giving 3" bore and 113 cu in. Super C uses 3-1/8" bore giving 123 cu in. They can be changed both ways, just a matter of changing sleeves and pistons". Should be the same for my old c (113 cid) and 130(123 cid). Thank you Mr. Hugh, where ever you are |
