1086 TA (1981)

Mike I think my TA is stuck on the low side even though the lever is in high. Could this be a hydraulic problem?? The tractor was "freewheeling" going down hill. This happens with my 656 but was told it shouldn't happen with the 10? Could the cable be separated/broke or a similar problem. The TA was not supposed to be very old. Supposedly replaced with a lifetime.
jim First thing, is to check that ta lever and cable are moving ta selector valve in mcv to full positions both ways, may have just slipped out of the cable clamp. If it is in middle you will operate in ta and also free wheel.
Mike Thank you Jim. After removing the engine tin I found the 90 degree bolt on the adjusting rod broken.
