International 340
| Jerry | I am new at all this. I got an International 340 utility about a week ago and am unable to find a drawbar so I'm planning on getting one made. Can anyone measure one and tell me the dimensions? I estimate a total length of 49", one bend down of 1 3/4" about 6" from the end where it attaches under the tractor. 1" thick and 1 3/4" wide. Thanks

| Hugh MacKay | Jerry: The drawbar pin hole should be 14" beyond end of PTO shaft. That gives standard setting if PTO equipment is being used. On width, I'd go with 2.5" rather than 1.75", just a bit more strength at drilled holes. 1" is plenty thick, factory was probably 3/4". Don't let me discourage you from 1", most factory drawbars were too light, especially if your using trailers. |
| Jerry | Thanks Hugh, being new to this I want to say thanks and noticed you have helped a lot of people. It's appreciated.

| John M | Did you try OEMtractorparts? Dont have my catalogue in front of me, but I think they do make them.(Although it wont be cheap!)
