another drawbar question
| Ken | Will the swinging/belly mount from an m fit an h? Pin is larger, is the bolt size/pattern the same? Thanks Ken |
| John M | Nope, the swingin drawbar itself is longer on an M.

| Hugh MacKay | Ken: I'm almost certain the 3 bolt pattern on that belly mount is different, part is larger with larger bolt pattern, on large chassis tractors. My experience is with 300, should be same as H and 560 should be same as M. Bear in mind it was also late 1960s when I put a new drawbar on my 560, my memory is a bit rusty on this one. Sorry I can't be more certain. |
| Ken | Hugh, thanks for the info. I have a fixed and swinging drawbar off an m (definately the heavy one, one inch thick and even the uprights are larger/wider) that is in excellent shape, would like to use it on this h I'm fixing. I do have a fixed bar off an h that is in good shape, may be ahead to stick to that one (is missing the swinging bar). Ken |
