42 Farmall H kero manafold & carb problems
|Robert Jones||Could someone give me advice on what the baffles are for on the manifold. Also the tractor skips when its running but runs good when I have the choke out half way it runs better. I have rebuilt the Carb but didn't help.
|John M||The lever controls a baffle inside the manifold to help preheat the fuel, (kerosene or distilate)to help it burn. I cant remember the gas setting, but I think all the way up is for gas. This shouldnt give any probelms for running. You have an obstruction in the tank, sediment bowl, fuel line, fuel filter or carb causing the problems.
