Pto on 1086
| Chris | I was pulling a bale wagon with my 1086 yesterday one minute was fine next minute nothing, no pto at all. Hydraulic fluid is fine any ideas where to start? It is a 1981 model with 4100 hrs. Does it have a seperate pump for the power steering? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

| MGS | First, check the linkage. Make sure the spool is actually moving up and down. The IPTO has its own pump. Do the steering and brakes work? If not, you may have stripped the spline on the pressure plate. That spline drives the IPTO and both hydraulic pumps. |
