IH 464/2400B, Distributor or Electronic ignition??

Andreas It occasionally miss fires when the rpm's are up there, so there needs to be some work on the distributor anyway. So whats a practical reason for not switching the distributor to electronic ignition if anyone can nicely tell me??? Thanks!
