354 IH brake issue

David Giles My 354 has grease in one of the brake housings. It does not smell like gear oil, but may be a leak from the seal from the diff. How difficult is it to replace that seal?

David

Hugh MacKay David: It probably isn't gear oil. An IH tractor as new as 354 uses transmission and rear end as it's hydraulic reservior. Probably what your getting is Hy-tran hydraulic oil.

I can't help you on the seal change on that British design.

William i had to do mine and it is hard. if you call me i tell how 1-705-732-4308 canada
