560 IH diesel turbo- fuel injectors need help

Jeff Henze Our 560 diesel turbo just blew a head gasket. can anyone tell us how to tear down the fuel injectors?

we tore down the 560 gas, but this is all different.

Hugh MacKay Jeff: I'm sure someone will come along, however if no one does within 36 hours, I'll try. Problem is I'm 67 and it's close to 40 years since I did mine. I did have a good teacher, but he didn't say it would stay with me forever.
jim Being five years older than Hugh, you will have to forgive me, but I do not really understand the question. Do you intend to disassemble the injection nozzles them selves or do you mean how to handle the situation to replace the head gasket. You don't need to remove them from the head to replace gasket, just cap them after removing fuel line. If the head need to be resurfaced then you would need to remove them. One thing on the head gasket, if the block does not have two little roll pins to locate head gasket, be sure to use a couple of dowels that will position gasket or fire rings will shift off of sleeve flanges. Repairing the nozzles call for a few special tools to adjust and test them.
Hugh MacKay Jim: Your teacher must have been better than mine, or maybe he just had a better student.
