farmall 706/international 301
|Kent21||hey everyone, i have an international farmall 706 and the motor blew up last fall. we put a 560 diesel in it but we lost a lot of horsepower. we found a 301 diesel out of an international 715 combine. i want to know if it will fit in the tractor?
|jim||Basic engine will fit just fine, however the front cover will have to be swapped and that includes the plate behind cover which of course the camshaft gear is in front of. Can be difficult to remove gear with out taking out entire camshaft. Also, the 301 is a sleeveless engine which is fine.
