Possible replacement engines for 756 Farmall
|Rick G||In a previous post redman suggested several engines to replace a d310. I have a similar problem. I've paid to rebuilt a D310 twice. Both time it was reassembled wrong. The last time a crank counterweigh came through the block.
A used D310 block is $1000. The D310 never had enough power in any event so what engines could be used in this tractor? I know that a 358 will work but they aren't all that common either.
Could someone suggest a list of possible engines which I could look for, and other machines, combines, etc. to watch for. The tractor isn't worth with a bad engine but if it had a functioning engine it could at least pull wagons, etc.
Any suggestions, other fixes?
|Wayne Smith||please advise if tractor is for Sale THANKS I.B.
