||Does anyone have any tips for removing rusted out freeze plugs from a IH 444 gas tractor. It has the C-153 engine.
||Travis, just take a socket about the same size and knock the old freeze plugs into the water passage. If you try to pull them out you will drive yourself CrAzY!! I have been turning wreches on tractors for over 20 years and trust me, this is how we do it. The old freeze plug will rust away in no time and will bot cause any issues. Then just install the new freeze plugs with a socket about the same size of the freeze plugs. Good luck!
