Mitsubishi MT24F

Don I was pulling yesterday and heard a loud pop, when I went to put up tractor right front wheel locked up. I could put in reverse and it would free up, then I would go forward again till I finally got it back in the garage, any ideas as to what I did?
The tractor is a 4wd tractor and when I heard the sound it was engaged.
