Deutz Allis 1920 Help?
| Scott | ![]()
We have a Deutz Allis 1920 Tractor with a 20hp Kholer Magnum engine in it. the Engine model is M20s. It starts and runs with the air filter off but is spraying a fine mist of fuel back out the carb, looking for suggestions if anyone has seen this and what to check. Thanks for your time and help. |
| Scott | Well I think its fixed and running like a top, someone dropped a screw from the base plate of the air cleaner down the carb and it was stuck in the intake valve. The valve did not open enough to allow it through. Scott |
| Rick Rees | Down in side of your carb is a little round tube.If that little fuel tube is bent up in anyway fuel will spray up and out of carb. Sounds like when you put on the air breather you are cutting off the air to the carb. Sounds like you need to ajust your carb. There are to screws on the front of your carb. One is air and the other is fuel.Try turning one screw at atime in. Just a little bit.
