Power King 1617 overheating issues

Charles Singleton I am having problems with overheating issues with my Power King, model 1617 (the one with the plastic hood). If anyone else is having or has had this problem and has a solution please contact me.

bontai Joe Typically, it's a mouse nest under the sheet metal shrouds on the motor that prevents proper air flow. You can remive the shrouds, clean out the debris and replace the shrouds. It's important to replace the shrouds as they direct the cooling air from the fan around the motor.
