john deere 2210

charles johnson I have a 2210JD with aprox 180 hours. It seems the charging circuit is not working.. My battery light on dash does not light when turning on key.. I read battery voltage at battery, not the 13 or 14vdc I should read when charging. The alternator is reading 28vac and I have replaced the 12vdc regulator. all fuses on fire wall ok. Any help would be appreciated.
