ford new holland 1715 starting

just bought a ford-nh 1715 that won't do anything when you turn on the ignition. have replaced battery and new starter. still nothing, any ideals would be very welcome, thanks

Make sure the safety switch on the clutch is not stuck or broken and make sure the PTO is not engaged. Both of these things happened on my 1220, the tractor will Not start if either is the problem.

sounds like a bad ground, take jumper cable and put on the neg. post of battery and to the frame,my 1715 done the same thing.
