| Drew | PTO will not disengage when the lever pushes in. Ive had it offf and may not have installed it in the right position? any suggestions? |
| Len | Electric clutch? Check the bearing in the pulley. If it is bad the clutch will not free wheel and will continue to turn after it is disengaged. The clutch assembly is $250-300 but in spite of MTD's repair centers advice, the bearing can be replaced. Close the peened tabs on the front and drive it out from the rear. Bearing cost $20! at a full line automotive parts distributor. |
| Timothy K. Bass | I'am faced with that bearing problem now/all the snow in MN, THANKS FOR THE ADVICE, mtd/cub dealers advise not to replace the bearing,like you stated, but will try, even tryed to purchase bearing from dealer,no luck/thanks
