d4h fuel injector replacment
| Joe W | I have a 1994 Caterpillar D4H and one of the injectors is not working. Does anybody know what tools I will need to replace it? I ordered the "injector puller" from my local Cat dealer but I don't know if I will need the entire "injector group" or just the injector puller. The puller group includes a few other tools like a slide hammer for tapping the injector out I think. I also don't know if I will need a replacement valve cover gasket for this job. (I'm not sure if I will have to remove the valve cover). I would greatly appreciate help from anyone who knows. Thanks, Joe. |
