d7 17a track

kcplacer i have a 17a with worn out track. a neighbor has a junker d7 3t with good track which i removed to replace mine. it turns out the 3t was using track for a d6c. the pitch is the same but the links are slightly narrower. i plan to use the dozer occasionally in steep, rocky ground. should i go ahead and switch or not.
hector gemme I am not sure the d6c chaine will fit on 17a
you better check the roller and idler center the are more weight than d6c

Leroy's Used Parts The D7 17A and D6C both have an 8.00 pitch but the bushings are not the same size therefore your are going to get a lot of wear on your sprocket and bushings-------Leroy
